It has a loyal customer base of residents and visitors alike. It is also an integral part of the varied retail mix of independent businesses that helps Newport to thrive as a local and tourist centre.

Inspired by the successful community purchase of Havards in Newport (the UK’s first community-owned hardware shop) in 2022, a new group of committed residents has got together to try to secure the future of Wholefoods of Newport as a community-owned shop.

Ers ei sefydlu dros 40 mlynedd yn ôl, mae Siop Bwydydd Cyflawn Trefdraeth wedi bod yn ganolbwynt cymunedol poblogaidd iawn. Mae wedi chwarae rhan gwerthfawr wrth gefnogi cyflenwyr lleol. Mae ganddi cwsmeriaid ffyddlon yn gynnwys drigolion ac ymwelwyr. Mae hefyd yn rhan annatod o'r cymysgedd manwerthu amrywiol o fusnesau annibynnol sy'n helpu Trefdraeth i ffynnu fel canolfan leol a thwristiaeth.
